    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim: Industry in Iraq is suffering and needs to increase its financial allocations

    Head of the Reform and Reconstruction Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, in his office in Baghdad, met with Minister of Industry and Minerals, Dr. Saleh Abdullah Al-Jubouri Wednesday 22/5/2019

    His eminence described the financial allocations to support the industry limited, called for the need to rehabilitate the military industrialization and support the national product.
    His eminence indicated that the industry in Iraq is suffering and need support and increase its limited financial allocations, which is less than 1% of the total expenditures of the public budget, stressed the need to support industry through providing support to national products, reduce imports and rely on the technical staff in the ministry.
    His eminence also stressed the importance providing support from the Council of Ministers and the political blocs to the Ministry of Industry and Minerals through legislations that contribute to the advancement of the Iraqi industry and overcome all the obstacles facing them, pointed to the need to rehabilitate the military industrialisation as it represents a need for Iraq at this stage in addition to full attention to all Iraqi factories.
