Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the importance of national cohesion among the Iraqi people, as it is the dam which prevents foreign interventions, noting that foreign interference is inversely proportional to national cohesion. His Eminence rejected again the decision made by the security and defense committee in Congress in dealing with the Iraq on the basis of two countries, calling on the government to arm all the forces facing ISIS on the ground.
This came while His Eminence presided over a meeting of the central council of the Martyr of the Niche Movement in his office in Baghdad, on Monday, May 04, 2015.
    His Eminence reiterated his call to invest the historic moment and make a project that will be reassured for everybody and a real and national reconciliation, praising the victories achieved in Diyala, Anbar and Tikrit and appreciating the sons of the Martyr of the Niche Movement who are still alive on the occasion of Rajab 1st the Iraqi martyr day.
