    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Calls for Fighting Corruption and for Dealing Strictly with Corruptors


        Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, called for joining efforts to fight the corruption and to deal strictly with the corruptors, stressing the importance that the Parliament play its supervisory role in fighting this epidemic. This came during a meeting held between his Eminence on Monday, May 11, 2015 at his office in Baghdad and the head of the Integrity Authority, Dr, Hassan Al Yasseri.
        His Eminence also emphasized the importance of the legislations that contribute to the fighting of corruption, calling on the civil society organizations, the state institutions and the media to work diligently to spread the integrity culture in the society and fight corruption.
