    In His Meeting with the Governor of Basra, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Calls the Officials, Sheikhs of Tribes and Security Forces to Contain Tribal Disputes


        The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, called the officials and people in charge of communicating with the sheikhs and leaders of tribes in the province of Basra to contain the tribal disputes and their consequences, highlighting that the security forces should play an active role in calming the situation and controlling the problems in a high level of professionalism. His eminence also prompted the governor and officials in the local government in Basra to visit the field and provide services to the citizens of Basra with the available capacities.
    This came when Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim received at his office in Baghdad Dr. Majed Al Nasrawi, the governor of Basra, on Tuesday, 2/6/2015.
        For his part, the governor informed his eminence about the situation of services, security and other fields in Basra and assured that the local government in the province is eager to provide services to the citizens within the available resources and the capacities of the municipality directorates and competent divisions. He also mentioned that the possibility of implementing other projects that would give the province the appearance it deserves is currently being studied. Finally, he indicated that Basra suffers from the lack of plans and financial allocations.
