Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Calls for Providing Compounds for Families Displaced from Anbar to Ensure Decent Life for Them and Protect Them from Summer Heat

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, called on the governmental institutions and the civil society organizations to provide housing compounds that ensure decent life and protect people from the summer heat, appealing to the rich citizens of Baghdad and of the other provinces to make as much donations as possible to the displaced families and to embrace them with love and cordiality, saying that this is the time to show to the world the cohesion of the Iraqi people and their affection towards each other.
This came while his Eminence was checking on the compound of Iraq’s tent, south of Baghdad, for the families displaced from Anbar on Friday, June 5, 2015. His Eminence expressed his deep grief for the miserable situation of the honorable Anbar families targeted by the terrorism which makes no discrimination between Iraqis, yet targets them all, and who were compelled to live in tents fleeing ISIS killing machine, calling on the security forces, the popular crowd and the tribes to make well-conceived plans that bring the land in Ramadi to the arms of the nation, liberate it from ISIS terrorism, and help the families return home.
