Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, praised the victories achieved by the heroes of the security forces, the popular crowd and the tribal members against the ISIS gangs, stressing the need to take care of the martyrs’ families and check on them as recognition of the role of their children in countering the ISIS aggression and liberating the pure Iraqi land from the profanation of the terrorism, reiterating the importance of granting powers to the local governments and of activating the investment and the private sector to overcome the economic and financial crisis in the provinces.
This came during a meeting of Al Muwattin bloc at the parliament and the local governments presided over by his Eminence at his office in Baghdad on Monday, June 8, 2015.
His Eminence called the officials at the Martyr of the Niche to get down to the streets to get to know the problems the citizens face and to ensure the execution of the platform of Al Muwattin Alliance with the available means, as well as to be open and to communicate with the rest of the political movements.
During the meeting, they discussed the situations of the provinces and how to overcome the problems and the obstacles to achieve development in different areas.
