Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Discusses with the Emir of the State of Kuwait the Political and Security Developments in the Region and the Bilateral Relations Between Iraq and Kuwait
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, discussed with the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah the political and security developments in the region and the bilateral relations between Iraq and Kuwait during his eminence’s visit to Kuwait on June 23, 2015.
His eminence indicated that his meeting with the Emir of Kuwait was deep and fruitful as they talked about the challenges that Iraq and the region are facing. He also lauded His Highness’ position and support to the Iraqi displaced families, assuring that the Kuwaiti leadership is handling the Iraqi situation with care and is following up closely the developments in Iraq, considering that the events in Iraq are the result of the events occurring in the region on fire.
