Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Discusses with the Emir of Qatar the Regional and International Efforts to Fight the Terrorist ISIS
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, discussed with the Emir of Qatar the regional and international efforts to fight the terrorist ISIS gangs, noting that the region’s countries appreciate the unity of all Iraqis in their heroic opposition of the perverted thought and the heinous crimes of that takfiri group.
This came during a meeting held between Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim and the Emir of Qatar, his highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad al Thani in Doha, on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, as his Eminence returned from a visit to the sister state of Kuwait.
Both sides also discussed the bilateral relations between Iraq and Qatar and the recent developments in Iraq.
