    During His Meeting with the President of the Republic, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Discusses with Dr. Masum the Civil Peace Initiative and Informs Him of the Outcomes of His Regional Tour


        Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received at his office in Baghdad on Thursday, 25/6/2015, His Excellency the President of the Republic Dr. Fuad Masum and discussed with him the civil peace and state building initiative. His eminence insisted that the security progress should be coupled with a political and social progress, assuring that this initiative was made for Iraq and is the result of the propositions and visions of Iraqi community leaders for over a decade.
        His eminence informed Dr. Masum of the outcomes of his regional tour and the support needed by Iraq in its war against ISIS since this war is being fought by Iraq on behalf of the region and the world, ISIS being a real threat to everyone.
        Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim expressed his contentment with the return of displaced families to the cities of Jalawla and Tikrit, highlighting the importance of relieving the suffering of the displaced populations and working hard to get them back to their cities after the liberation and purification of the latter. His eminence called on the Iraqi community and all its institutions to make a bigger effort in taking care of the displaced and added that the support should not be limited to the government and its currently known capacities.
        His eminence underlined that Iraq should play a vital role in the regional matters and reveal its viewpoint regarding the importance of dialogue as a way to solve all problems.
        Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim and President Masum both praised the victories achieved by the security forces, the popular crowd, the Iraqi tribes and the Pershmerga against the gangs of ISIS. They expressed their satisfaction with the increase of the number of fighters from the tribes at training camps and how the latter are playing the most important role in freeing the land with the support of their brothers in the popular crowd and the security forces.
