    Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Stresses the Need for Providing Services to the Citizens of Basra, Especially Power


        The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, stressed the need to provide services to the citizens of Basra especially power, with the soar of high temperatures. He called for further coordination between the central government and the local government in Basra to address security and tribal challenges and to ensure security and stability in province. His eminence also praised the efforts made by all the parties in Basra to contain the political crisis and work hard to do justice for Basra and its citizens.
    This came when Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim received at his office in Baghdad the governor of Basra, Dr. Majed Al Nasrawi, on Tuesday, 7/7/2015.
        For his part, the governor expressed his appreciation of Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim’s efforts and support for the demands and rights of the citizens of Basra in having essential services and enjoying peace and stability, and enhancing the tribal cohesion in the province. He finally pointed out that the meeting was successful as it paved the way to solve all the crises in Basra.
