Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received on Thursday, 30/7/2015, at his office in Baghdad a delegation representing a young elite of the Iraqi Republican Party that was recently founded. His eminence listened to an introduction about the party, its goals and ambitions made by the party representatives who expressed their hope to become part of the active forces that serve Iraq and its people. His eminence congratulated the delegation for the foundation of the party and hoped that they would seek to serve the citizens of the country by participating in the coming elections. For his part, the delegation praised the civil peace initiative and considered it part of the national program to solve the problems of the country. Members of the delegation also wished that the political blocs study the initiative and enrich it with their suggestions and notes, to turn it into an action plan for all the political and societal forces in Iraq.
