Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Discusses with U.S. Ambassador the Security Progress Achieved by the Security Forces in their War Against ISIS

Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, warned again against the spread of the ISIS way of thought in the region and the world, explaining that terrorism will not stop at the borders of any country and that it will be targeting everyone if it worsens. He reminded that Iraq is fighting a war on behalf of the region and the world against one of the most insolent terrorist groups which has committed the most atrocious crimes committed throughout human history.
This came when his eminence received the U.S. ambassador Mr. Stuart Jones at his office in Baghdad on Wednesday, 5/8/2015.
His eminence praised the victories achieved by the security forces in Anbar which proved that ISIS will not survive the attacks of the Iraqi forces, the popular crowd, the tribes and the Peshmerga if it was no longer supported. He clarified that the eradication of ISIS is not limited to the efforts at the security level, even if the latter is inevitable, but it also needs endeavors and the political, developmental, social and economic levels, calling at the same time to benefit from the experiences of nations and peoples in administrative decentralization.
