Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim receives Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, Farouq Qaimagja
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received at his office in Baghdad the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad Farouq Qaimagja on Wednesday 12/08/15. His Eminence discussed with the Ambassador of Turkey the bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey and the common files between them whether political, economic, water and the fight against terrorism. His Eminence appreciated Turkey’s position against terrorist groups and fighting them on the front lines. Once again, his Eminence warned from the spread of terrorism in the region and its threat to all, calling Turks to support Iraq in its war on ISIS for being waged on behalf of the countries of the region and the world.
