Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme council of Iraq, demanded the International Coalition to play a bigger role in the face of terrorism, noting that terrorism is targeting everyone and stressing on the need of concerted efforts to eliminate it.
His Eminence received the new Australian Ambassador Christopher Langman into his office in Baghdad on Monday 7/9/2015. He called for the exchange of experiences between Iraq and Australia, especially in the field of agriculture because Australia has an expertise and modern techniques in this field that can help Iraq in the development of agricultural field.
Sayyid al-Hakim also discussed with the Australian Ambassador the security and political issues in Iraq, the region, and the world, and the bilateral relations between the two countries and the ways of developing them in all fields.
