    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Discusses with the Turkish Ambassador the Development of the Security and Political Situations in the Region

     
    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, discussed with the Turkish Ambassador Nihat Qaemaqchi the development of the security and political situations in the region.
    His Eminence upon receiving Qaemaqchi at his office in Baghdad on Tuesday 8/9/2015 praised the last position of Turkey from terrorism and contributing at the front line against it. He noted that terrorism excludes no one and spreads its poison in Baghdad as in Istanbul or other cities in the region, calling to confront it seriously and cut off all military, financial, and logistical supplies to eradicate this cancerous gland that only excision works with it.
    Sayyid al-Hakim stressed on the importance of cooperating with Turkey in several fields, including investment and equitable distribution of water quotas.
