Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic supreme council of Iraq, focused on the unity of Iraq by considering once again the unity of Iraq as an unoptional and compulsory fate, and that without Iraq’s unity all its people will suffer.

His Eminence, during his meeting with the delegation of the National Coalition in his office in Baghdad on Monday September 14th2015, underlined the importance of moving reforms forward and responding to the demands of true demonstrators, noting that the reforms have to be serious, radical, comprehensive, and balanced ones in accordance with the law and to the Constitution, calling for laws legislation that supports reforms, contributes into the stability of the country and notes the interests of the Iraqi people.

For its part, the delegation of the National Coalition praised Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim ideas, his continuous emphasis on supporting Iraq\'s unity, his alleviation of displaced persons\' suffering, and his efforts in supporting the reform process and converging the views between the political parties.
