    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim: Determination, Clarity, and Foresight Lead to Liberate 100 km2 from ISIS


        Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, confirmed that the clarity, vision, and foresight that the security services and the popular crowd have represent  the factors that have helped to liberate 100 thousand square kilometers from ISIS and to put an end to their false myth. In addition, he noted that fighters’ courage is stemming from their faith in the     epistolary project and from their early consciousness of the danger threatening their homeland, therefore they rushed to meet the advisory opinion of the blessed religious authority that have reversed the equations. Its result is clear today compared to the cities and broad regions that ISIS lost last year.

    This came during Husseini Mourning in His Eminence office on Thursday October 22, 2015. 

        His Eminence referred to security, social, and economic pressures suffered by Iraqi people, indicating that achieving victory over the challenges is probable and victory is a divine promise. Besides, he expressed Iraqis pride in their martyrs and in having the characteristics of Imam Hussein companions (peace be upon them). He also pointed out that the popular crowd have legendary stories of heroism and bravery that should be documented and recorded through the media, art, and literature, since they represent a real offspring of the people encountering the toughest challenges.
