Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Receives Canadian Ambassador in Baghdad
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received in his office in Baghdad on Sunday November 1st, 2015 the Canadian ambassador Mr. Brunei Sakamouni.
\r\nHis Eminence discussed with the Canadian ambassador the bilateral relations between Iraq and Canada at the political, cultural, and economic level, calling upon all countries of the world to support Iraq against ISIS since it is a cross-border threat to everyone. He also stressed the importance of funding the reconstruction of the liberated areas and supporting displaced people.
