    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, discussed with Turkish ambassador, Farouk Qaamakja, the latest developments in the political situation of the region and the bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey.

His Eminence, during his meeting with Turkish ambassador in his office in Baghdad on Monday November 16th, 2015, stressed the importance of dialogue to resolve the issues of the region, such as Syrian, Yemeni, and Bahraini crises, emphasizing concerted efforts to bring the region into its political and security nature. Al-Hakim also warned that terrorism is a cancerous gland that needs eradication, and it will spread whenever the appropriate conditions are met.
