Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim Expresses Concern Regarding Bahraini Government\'s Decision To Subject Hawzas To Its Authority And Direction, And Supports Ulemas’ Position That Rejects This Decision.
The head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim expressed concern regarding the consequences of Bahrain’s decision to subject Hawzas to Bahraini authority and direction, stressing his support for the position of distinguished ulemas in rejecting Bahraini government’s decision.
\r\n Sayyid al-Hakim posted on his official Facebook page, on Monday, “Things are going in a disturbing direction, especially the Bahraini government\'s decision to subject Hawzas to its authority and direction, which is abnormal in Muslim countries\' regimes.” He highlighted his significant interest regarding the peaceful movement developments in Bahrain, and the Bahraini authorities\' position regarding it.
\r\n He stressed that they support the distinguished ulemas\' position in Bahrain which rejects this decision, calling on the Government of Bahrain to withdraw it and work on spreading love and harmony between the people of one nation.
\r\nIt’s worth noting that the Bahraini government has decided to subject Hawzas to its authority and direction, which caused anger in the Bahraini street which supports ulemas, while the greatest Bahraini ulemas expressed their rejection of this decision, stressing on the independence Hawza.
