Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Congratulates Iraqi Army for its Founding Anniversary and Calls for the Development of Army’s Armament and Military Capabilities

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, congratulated today, Wednesday 06/01/2016, the Iraqi army for its 95th founding anniversary, calling for the development of army’s armament and military capabilities in order to face the enemy and liberate last inch of Iraqi territories.
\r\nHis Eminence posted on his Facebook page: “We invest this opportunity to express our great gratitude for the momentous sacrifices of ours sons in the armed forces, who defend the honor of the homeland with their fellows in the Federal Police, the popular crowd Mujahideen, and the clans and the Peshmerga’s heroes. We also call for the development of military and armament capabilities of our valiant army.”
\r\nHe added: “We pay well deserved tribute to the brave resisters in the battlefields and to the fervent defenders of Iraq and the integrity of its territories, as you celebrate the 95th noble anniversary of founding the Iraqi army.”
\r\nMoreover, His Eminence said: \" We invest this occasion to express our great gratitude for the tremendous sacrifices of ours sons in the armed forces who defend the honor of the homeland with their fellows in the Federal Police, the popular crowd Mujahideen, and the clans and the Peshmerga’s heroes”, calling for “the development of military and armament capabilities of the army.”
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim concluded his speech by telling Iraqi army: “You are our hope and we achieve victory by you. God bless you and grant you victory over our enemies. May your martyrs rest in peace and your wounded quickly recover.”
