His eminence Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim meets Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) delegation presided by Mr. Aso Mamand
Chairman Supreme Islamic Council in Iraq (SICI), his eminence Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim met with Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) delegation presided by Mr. Aso Mamand, at his eminence Baghdad office, Tuesday, January 19, 2016.
His eminence discussed with the delegation the political and security status latest developments and the mutual relations between PUK and SICI, emphasizing on the importance of joining efforts of all Iraqi denominations in order to liberate the Iraqi soil from the defile ISIS criminals. His eminence affirmed that Iraq is for all Iraqis, the unity of Iraq is an undoubted fate and not an option, because all Iraqi people components are in need of each other in the light of the regional and international situations. His eminence proposed to make the next phase, a phase of joint efforts and national cohesion to solidify the relations among the nation’s people and to guarantee all Iraqi people’s rights without exceptions.
PUK’s representative Mr. Khalid Shuwani agreed with SICI’s opinions and visions regarding the various issues discussed by the two parts, pointing to the historical relation between PUK and SICI and showed PUK’s care to maintain communications and increase meetings to reach a patriotic vision for all related issues.
