His eminence Sayyid Ammar AL-Hakim discuses with Iraq president the development of political and security situations in Iraq
During his eminence communications with Iraq leaderships to discuss the political and security developments in Iraq, Chairman Supreme Islamic Council in Iraq (SICI) Sayyid Ammar AL-Hakim met the president of Iraq Mr. Fuad Masum at the president’s office in Baghdad on Wednesday, January 20, 2016.
\r\nHis eminence stressed on the importance of joining efforts to create a national project that overcomes sectarianism and nationalism, indicating that Iraq is in need of unity, pacification and reordering the lines. Furthermore, discussions included means of supporting security forces and Popular Forces to achieve triumph against ISIS, and the most significant obstacles hindering the government’s reformation process .
