    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim: Iraq is suffering from lack of funding and this year is the year of reconcilements

    Chairman Supreme Islamic Council in Iraq (SICI) Sayyid Amma Al-Hakim expressed his objection on statements describing Iraq as a bankrupted country, explaining that there are terminological differences between bankrupting and lack of funding, Iraq has a lot of potentials yet suffering prioritizing disorder, indicating that national and regional reconcilements are close to be determined nationally and regionally because all conflicts’ cards had been expended by all parts.

    His eminence explained in Baghdad dewan of youth leaders his Baghdad office, January 23, 2016, Saturday, that the national project is the most proper project for youth, because most Iraq population is youth category, yet they are not adequately represented in political departments comparing to their percentage in the community, supporting the callings to decrease the rates of election nomination to represent wide range of youth, urging youth to unite in a one specific vision accompanied with proper mechanisms, policies, plans and will, indicating that rights and roles are to be seized and not given, therefore youth should realize this fact.

    In respect of extremism and moderation, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim indicated that moderation is out of power and extremism is an act of weakness, expressing his regrets of exploiting extremism for political gains, explaining that moderation is not counted by numbers and have a much further limit, yet extremism is limited by more killing and destruction. His eminence asked to organize and manage variety to make it as a source for society enrichment, indicating that Iraqi people had presented models of national cohesion represented in their support to displaced people, yet that was not announced by the media.
