During a meeting with the elders and figures of Iraqi tribes .. Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim calls Basra tribal leaders to take their role in ending conflicts
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim stressed the need to make more efforts to encounter tribal conflicts through reconciliations, warning of the dangers resulting from tribal conflicts on the ground and the evil hands that stir these issues.
\r\nThat was during his eminence meeting with elders and figures of Bani Malik and Albu Bussairi , Abu Al-hail, Al-Asafi, Bani Sakin, and at Sheikh Shadad Al-Faris guest house, Tuwaina family guest house, bani Amir and Al-Batat tribes in Basra Thursday, February 25, 2016, praising the role of tribes in protecting the Iraqi project for being the Religious Authority soldier in defending the country and shia’s religious rituals.
\r\nHis Eminence said the tribal conflicts is not innocent disputes as some might imagine but is part of a scheme to bring chaos to southern areas, calling for unity and solidarity to enable the concerned departments in Basra of providing service to the citizens.
\r\nIn respect of current political situations, his eminence indicated that the current phase is the phase of historical resolutions, and it is more suitable to set these adjustments by us before being imposed from abroad, indicating that ISIS had ended as a political project and security forces are eroding the land under ISIS feet..
\r\nIn respect of the reformations, his eminence indicated that the Supreme Council supports the reformations and will not stand against it, but the Supreme Council wants for the reformations a clear plan and criteria and most importantly evaluation committees assessing ministers’ performance to distinguish efficient ministers from inefficient ministers
