    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim discusses with Mamosta Ali Bapir leader of Kurdistan Islamic Group the developments of political situations in Iraq

    Chairman Supreme Islamic Council in Iraq (SICI) Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim met with leader of Kurdistan Islamic Group Mamosta Ali Bapir in his eminence’s Baghdad office on Thursday 3, March 2016. Both sides reviewed security and political issues in Iraq and relations with the KRG and the central government stressing on the importance of joining efforts to save Iraq from the current crisis.

    His eminence emphasized that cultural variety in Iraq is an inevitable fate of Iraqis and Iraq unity must be observed bearing in mind the unstable situations in the region, indicating that Iraq had passed difficult phases fighting ISIS and protecting Iraq from extremists ideology.

    In respect of reformations and the dissimilarity of opinions, his eminence reiterated the importance of establishing reformations on specific plans and goals and setting a time period, confirming that reformations requires supporting legislations plus the to address security, political and social issues
