Chairman Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim sent a telegram to Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit congratulating Aboul Gheit for being elected as the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Monday March 14, 2016.
\r\nHis eminence expressed his aspirations hoping that Aboul Gheit will contribute in opening new horizons of mutual relations among the Arab countries and reaching solution and resolutions for the crises-ridden Arab homeland and region, calling to spare the region the threats of terrorism by establishing peace and harmony and solidification of the Arab identity.
