Chairman Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim called Iraqi youth to take their role without waiting for someone giving them their role, roles are to be taken and not to be given, noting that Iraqi society is a young society by virtue of the proportion of youth in the population.

This took place during a meeting between His Eminence and Wasit youth gathering in the city of Kut Wednesday, 16 March 2016.

\r\n

His Eminence reiterated his call to decrease the nominating age of the parliament to 28 years old, in the Iraqi Council of Representatives in order to make the equation logical between the people and their representatives, praising the response of youth to the Religious Authority call to defend their land and holy places at which they filled the battlefields of jihad, expressing his pride in the existence of such kind of conscious young believers in Iraq.
