Chairman Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim at his office in Baghdad Saturday, 19.03.2016 hosted Atlantic Council delegation headed by former ambassador to Baghdad, Ryan Crocker, and discussed security and political situation in Iraq and the victories the Iraqis of all masses had achieved on ISIS.

Eminence explained to the delegation of the Atlantic Council that the unity of Iraq is a demand of everyone in Iraq and that all disputes must be resolved under the umbrella national unity, indicating that it important for the progress in security to be accompanied by the progress made in the political aspects.

\r\n

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim emphasized that the new Iraq needs to establish strong relations with all countries, including neighboring countries and in the region and the countries of the world countries, including the United States of America basing on mutual interests and respect to people’s will, pointing out that Iraq has suffered from the intersections not willing to be involved in the hub circle and seeking to be a bridge for the convergence of different points of view.
