Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim meets with US ambassador to discuss updates of security and political situations and the war on ISIS
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received in his office in Baghdad Tuesday, 14.06.2016. US Ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Stuart Jones.
\r\nHis eminence and Mr. Jones discussed updates in the security and political situation in Iraq and the region, his eminence stated that recent attacks in America executed by ISIS confirms what we warned from that terrorism is an imminent and a cross-border threat to everyone, and there is no country safe from ISIS when it decide to strike, calling for more seriousness to counter terrorism and stop it in terms of ideology and funding.
\r\nhis eminence talked about the Battle of Fallujah and Mosul, stressing that Fallujah battle is one of the most organized battles, and violations that had occurred does not affect the overall execution of the military operation because it remain condemned individual attempts and the perpetrators will be justly punished.
