Sayyid Ammar Al- Hakim receives French ambassador to Baghdad, conferring on security and political situation
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, Chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq at his office in Baghdad Wednesday, 29.06.2016, received France\'s ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Mr. Marc Barety.
\r\nHis Eminence and Mr. Barney discussed the political and security situation in Iraq and the region, at which His Eminence stressed the importance of concerted efforts to eliminate ISIS which now conduct global attacks presenting threats to all communities.
\r\nThe two sides also discussed bilateral relations in economic and societal fields, and his eminence indicated importance of contributing to the reconstruction of liberated areas of and relief to the displaced families.
\r\nRegarding the battle of Mosul, his Eminence indicated it would be a national battle in which everyone will participate, noting that ISIS in Iraq is gasping its last breaths, giving proof by being defeated in Fallujah baffled.
