Sayyid Ammar Al- Hakim to discuss with the German ambassador prospects of cooperation between Baghdad and Berlin
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, Chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq discussed with the Federal German ambassador Eckhard Preveza prospects of cooperation between Baghdad and Berlin regarding security, cultur and economic aspects.
\r\nThis took place during His Eminence receiving the German ambassador in his office in Baghdad Thursday, 30.6.2016, as Mr. Preveza had finished his tenure as an ambassador to Iraq.
\r\nHis Eminence stressed that Iraq is acting on behalf of the world in the fight against ISIS and ISIS is a threat to all, given the recent attacks in more than one place in the world, calling on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in supporting the Iraq with security information and logistics, and Iraq is not asking anyone to its fight against ISIS, because Iraq has a lot of fighters of all Iraqi community components.
\r\nHis eminence indicated that terrorism by targeting all, has become the reason of unity between the components and their interrelations among each other, praising the role played by the security forces and the popular forces and tribal forces and Peshmerga who documented the finest victories in defense of Iraq and humanity.
\r\nMr. Preveza praised the progress made by the security forces in the fight against ISIS, and congratulated His Eminence for the liberation of Fallujah and the northern cities of Salahuddin.
