Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq met commander of the Islamic Revolution in Iran,his eminence Grand Ayatollah Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei (long live) Friday, 07.08.2017.
\r\nChairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq discussed with Imam Khamenei developments in the political and security situation in Iraq and the region and the war on ISIS terrorism, stressing that Iraq is ongoing in its efforts to encounter ISIS terrorism and clearing ISIS from the occupied cities, noting that Mosul will be the last battle of Iraq with ISIS and Takfiri ideology, praising the stand of the Islamic Republic of Iran in support of the Iraqis in the face of terrorism.
\r\nIn response, Imam Khamenei praised the role of the Iraqis facing terrorism on behalf of the world, stressing the unity of Iraq\'s land and people, expressing his sincere condolences to the Iraqi people due to the recent bombings in Karrada area, Baghdad and Balad district, Salah Al Din province.
