Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim: the awareness of the Iraqi people and the wisdom of the Religious Authority had solved a lot of internal disputes
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, discussed with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Mr. Ali Shamkhani developments in the security and political situation in Iraq and the region and bilateral relations between the two countries, indicating that the awareness of the Iraqi people and the wisdom of his Religious Authority had solved a lot of internal disputes.
\r\nThis took place during a meeting of his Eminence with Mr. Shamkhani at the latter’s office in Tehran Sunday, 10/07/2016.
\r\nHis Eminence praised the stands of the Islamic Republic of Iran in its support for Iraq in the face of terrorism, noting the importance of mobilizing resources to confront terrorism.
\r\nFrom his side, Mr. Shamkhani stressed the need to eradicate the growth and emergence of Takfiri ideology and ISIS methods, praising the role of the Religious Authority and government policies to prevent sectarian disputes and giving attention to the priorities
