Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim discusses with the Iranian ambassador developments in the security and political situation in the region
In the framework of communication with the diplomatic missions operating in Iraq, especially the ambassadors of neighboring countries, showing that the new Iraq is open to everyone and seeking to establish better relations between Iraq and his neighbors through extending trust, as well as Iraq\'s will to perform as a bridge for the convergence of views, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received at his office in Baghdad Sunday, 17/07/2016, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Hassan Danaeifar.
\r\nHis Eminence and Mr. Danaeifar extensively discussed developments in the security and political situation and the war on terrorism, which is attacking the entire world. His eminence emphasized on the importance of understanding the threat of terrorism to the national and international peace, reiterating his warning to the possibility of large countries being dragged to the swamp of terrorism, presuming to be immune from terrorism and able to control its activities.
\r\nMr. Ammar Al-Hakim and the Iranian ambassador discussed the events taking place in neighboring Turkey, emphasizing on resolving issues through dialogue, the Constitution and the law, bearing in mind Turkey\'s vital role in the region\'s stability and direct impact on the security of Iraq.
