Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim meets with Parliament Speaker to look into the advancement of the Legislative and supervisory role of the Iraqi house of representatives
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, renewed the call for forming a non-biased transient political block as a necessity imposed by the merits of the stage, noting that the Council of strategic policies, which will be formed on the light of the abovementioned bloc will greatly ease the political debate and prepares grounds and understandings to pass important laws.
\r\nThis took place during his eminence\'s meeting with Parliament Speaker Mr. Salim al-Jubouri, in his office in Baghdad Sunday, 07/17/2016.
\r\nHis Eminence stressed the need that the Iraqi house of representatives should raise its legislative and supervisory duty, especially after the end and solving the gap of the constitutional debate, stressing the importance of working on inclusive reforms away from the unrealistic patching solutions.
\r\nHis Eminence discussed with al-Jubouri post-ISIS phase, stressing the importance of preparing for this stage with extensive examinations, making the political, social and tribal leaders responsible for preparing a vision for this stage, adding that ISIS was not only a criminal entity, but also a project to break the social ties between the components and within a single component of Iraqi community .
