Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim with the US ambassador to Baghdad discusses the battle to liberate the Mosul and north of Salah Al Din
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, in his office in Baghdad Wednesday; 27.07.2016 received US Ambassador to Baghdad Stuart E. Jones.
\r\nHis Eminence discussed with Mr. Jones, security, military and political developments in Iraq and developments in the region and its impact particularly on Iraq, plus discussing last confrontation with ISIS at the liberation of Mosul battle, indicating that the battle to liberate Mosul is a national battle that will martially defeat terrorism, calling for the intensification preparations of the security and intelligence to absorb ISIS’s reactions after losing all the usurped lands since June 2014.
\r\nHis Eminence demanded the international community to understanding threat of the terrorism spread, affirming that the security of the world\'s cities will be secured after the liberation of Mosul, therefore Mosul is a national necessity and Important for the security of the entire world, confirming the availability of abundant men and combating capacities of various levels and formations, but only needs air support and intelligence information.
