Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim discusses plans to enactment of laws in the Iraqi House of Representatives with the House Speaker Mr. Salim Al-Jubouri
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, chairman of Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, at his office in Baghdad Sunday 28/8/2016, received Parliament Speaker Mr. Salim Al-Jubouri.
\r\nHis Eminence discussed with Al-Jubouri the developments in the security and political situation in Iraq and the region, and plans to enactment of laws in the Iraqi House of Representatives, his eminence emphasized the importance of political equanimity to prepare for the battle to liberate Mosul as it is the final challenge and by its completion Iraq will declare being free of ISIS on military level, pointing to the importance to start political stability from the Dome of the people’s representatives, calling for applying rules of parliamentary conduct.
\r\nHis Eminence emphasized on promoting the regulatory and legislative role of the Iraqi House of Representatives, stressing the importance of adopting laws of the Federal Court, Federal Council and the electoral law, and to consider the request of combining the two electoral practices on one day, reduce the number of members of the Iraqi House of Representatives and members of the provincial councils
