Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim discusses Yemen crisis and means of settlements with Yemeni political powers delegation
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, chairman of Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, at his office in Baghdad received delegation of Yemen comprised of a number of representatives of the Yemeni political powers, Monday, 29/08/2016.
\r\nHis Eminence with the Yemeni delegation discussed security and political situation in Yemen, noting the importance of dialogue and a political solution to solve the crisis of Yemen, valuing the stands of the Yemeni political powers since the constitutional proclamation to the formation of the negotiating delegation and then declare the Political Council which was approved by the Yemeni parliament and received the support of the Yemeni people shown in the demonstration of millions supporting the right of the Yemeni people in deciding its own destiny and form its own political system.
\r\nHis Eminence explained that resorting to weapons will not solve the Yemeni crisis, stressing that resolving the crisis in Yemen, is by a political solution and there are no other solutions, stressing the need to involve all Yemenis in the formulation of a political venture to maintain the unity and stability of Yemen, considering Yemen security an effective factor in the international peace and security because of Yemen strategic location.
\r\nHis Eminence stressed the need for concerted efforts to stop the expansion of terrorism in the south of Yemen, calling to be vigilant to the threat and unite efforts to stop its spread, and emphasis on the unity of Yemen as a land and people.
\r\nYemeni delegation\'s praised the input of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, and his constant emphasis on dialoguing as a solution in all crises of the region.
