Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim receives US Ambassador marking the end of his duties in Iraq
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, in his office in Baghdad Tuesday, 30.08.2016. received US ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Stuart Jones, marking the end of his diplomatic mission in Baghdad.
\r\nHis eminence and Mr. Jones discussed developments in the security and political situation in Iraq and the region, and discussing the preparations for the battle to liberate Mosul, stressing on the importance of concerted efforts to end the final confrontation with ISIS and eliminate the military threat of ISIS in Iraq.
