Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, head of the Iraqi National Alliance, discussed with the British Ambassador Frank Baker the security situation in Iraq and the preparations for the battle to restore the city of Mosul from the control of terrorist Daesh cliques.


His Eminence stressed during his meeting with the British ambassador to Iraq, Frank Baker and his accompanying delegation at his office in Baghdad Tuesday, 27/09/2016, on the importance of strengthening the bilateral relations between Iraq and Britain for the benefit of the two countries, and discussions covered the ongoing preparations to liberate the city of Mosul stressing that the natives of the usurped cities should have a direct role in liberating their areas, the two sides also discussed the prospects of cooperation between the two countries, and political, security and economic challenges in the country.
