    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim meets with Japanese Ambassador to discuss supporting the displaced people and the reconstruction of liberated cities

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, head of the Iraqi National Alliance, in his office in Baghdad Wednesday, 28.09.2016 received Japan\'s ambassador to Baghdad Mr. Fumio Iwai.

    His Eminence discussed with Mr. Iwai reconstruction of liberated cities and relief provision to the displaced families, calling on the world to shoulder its responsibilities towards the displacement crisis suffered by the people as a result of Daesh’s conduct.

    \r\n

    His eminence stressed that the presence of Daesh on terms of military will end after the liberation of Mosul, yet will remain to present a security threat, calling for benefiting from the Japanese experience in the reconstruction of Japan after World War II, valuing all the efforts made by Japan to help Iraq.
