Both sides discussed facts of humanitarian situation resulted by Daesh and the role of the UN in relief the displaced families, his eminence urged to multiply the efforts to relief displaced people of Mosul and set up preparations to provide assistance in multiple axis, because it is not possible to anticipate the escape routes that the displaced people would take to flee from Daesh assaults. His eminence emphasized that the post-Mosul stage requires UN to continue its role to upkeep the civil peace and historic reconciliation, reiterating emphasis on the necessities of post- Mosul liberation; the security strategy, a comprehensive political project, the achievement of civil and social peace, the reconstruction of cities and provision of services.
