Head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, calls on the international community to increase support for the Iraqi people
Head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim at his office in Baghdad received the European Union\'s ambassador to Iraq Mr. Patrick Simon, Wednesday, 05/10/2016. His eminence demanded the continuation of cooperation at all levels and contribute to the reconstruction projects and provide the necessary expertise.
\r\nHis Eminence urged the international community in general and called on friendly countries and allies in particular, to support Iraq, especially during the challenges that Iraq faces, including the fight against terrorism and the influx of displaced families that require a special care and attention.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim stressed the importance of strengthening the conduct of relations between Iraq and the countries of the European Union, pointing out that Iraq needs international capabilities in the war against Daesh extremist groups.
