    The Political Authority of the Iraqi National Alliance to discuss civil peace bill with relevant committee in attended by representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations

    The Political Authority of the Iraqi National Alliance held its regular meeting presided by Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Iraqi National Alliance at Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim’s office in Baghdad Wednesday, 05.10.2016 .

    The meeting hosted representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in Iraq Mr. Jan Kubis and the Civil Peace Committee that emanated of the Iraqi National Alliance, considering civil peace a commitment document to build bridges of trust between the components of the Iraqi society and modify its clauses to reach a comprehensive national settlement on the basis of justice and mutual respect and rely on the principles of the Constitution, without selectivity.

    A decision was made that blocs associated to the Iraqi National Alliance to study and finalize the bill in the coming days.

    \r\n

    The Political Authority discussed statements of Turkish politician about Iraqi affairs, counting these statements an obvious interference to Iraq internal affairs, which contradict the nature of relations between the two neighbors and the international agreements, calling the government to take the necessary measures to deter such intervention and immediate withdrawal from Iraq.

    The Political Authority of the Iraqi National Alliance held its regular meeting on Wednesday, 5.10. 2016 and has hosted the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the committee responsible for the preparation of civil peace bill, a commitment document to build bridges of trust between the components of the Iraqi society components.

    \r\n

    Attendees participated to discuss and modify the clauses of the Civil Peace Bill in order to rationalize the vision to a political and societal settlement on the basis of justice, mutual respect and affiliation to the principles of the Constitution, without selectivity.

    \r\n

    A decision was made that blocs associated to the Iraqi National Alliance to study and finalize the bill in the coming days.

    \r\n

    Statements of Turkish politician about Iraqi affairs was also put for discussion, counting these statements an obvious interference to Iraq internal affairs, which contradict the nature of relations between the two neighbors and the international agreements, calling the government to take the necessary measures to deter these unjustified interventions and immediate withdrawal of Turkish forces from Iraqi soil.
