Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Iraqi National Alliance, expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the incident of bombing a funeral capital Sanaa, Yemen, that resulted in hundreds casualties in lives and wounded people, adding that this incident proved that war in Yemen is out from its military context and entered in hatred and bloodshed.

This took place during the eighth evening of the month of Muharram at his office in Baghdad Sunday, 09/10/2016. His eminence indicated that the people, the homeland and protecting the blood of Muslims and the relationship between nations must be safeguarded by everyone and who fails to do so should be held accountable, pointing out that the Sanaa incident turned a Fighter to an Assassin, full of hatred, malice and ugliness and alienation from human values, wondering if the presence of military leaders and politicians, if present, justify shedding the blood of innocent people in the funeral who sat to listen to words of God?, stressing that any justifications do not justify cruelty, calling that everyone should be ashamed to see relations between Arab and Muslim people and nations reaching to this level, reminding that war will not last and eventually everyone will sit for dialogue and then the souls of victims will remind of the decisions and practices that have been taken by taking lives.

His eminence when recalling evenings of the month of Muharram, indicated another characteristics of insightful persons, which are honesty and keeping secrets, stressing that protecting the unity of the homeland is everyone\'s responsibility and the negligence of this responsibility is counted a betrayal to the homeland and the people.
