Head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim meet Sheikh Anwar al-Asi the emir of the Al-Obaid tribes
Head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim discussed with Sheikh Anwar al-Asi the emir Al-Obaid tribes the security and social situation in the province of Kirkuk.
\r\nHis eminence received Sheikh Anwar al-Asi at his office in Baghdad Wednesday, 10/19/2016.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim stressed the need to unite everyone for consolidation of civil peace and conserving the identity of Kirkuk and the unity of its components and to ensure peaceful coexistence which will safeguard the rights of everyone without any discrimination.
\r\nHead of the Iraqi National Alliance valued the prominent role of the Iraqi tribes in the defense of the homeland, praising the sacrifices of the families of the Al-Obaid tribes and their role in fighting criminal gangs of Daesh.
\r\nFor his part, Sheikh Anwar al-Asi expressed congratulations to Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim marking his eminence accession the presidency of the Iraqi National Alliance, describing the return of the Iraqi National Alliance to function and holding its meetings a positive development.
