Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, head of the Iraqi National Alliance, received at his office in Baghdad US President’s envoy to the International Alliance Mr. Bert Maghurk Tuesday, October 25, 2016.

His Eminence discussed with Maghurk the battle to liberate Mosul and victories achieved so far in the sectors of operations, stressing that the battle of Mosul is a national battle where all the blood of all of Iraq\'s various components is mixed, and it is their own battle only with those who usurped their land.

\r\n

In respect of Turkish forces, head of the Iraqi National Alliance, reiterated demanding Turkish forces to withdraw from Iraq, considering the existence of Turkish troops a present against the consent of the legitimate Iraqi government and violated Iraq\'s sovereignty and will not be allowed by prescription, pointing out that Iraq requested assistance in training and arming, including Turkey which is not an exception, therefore there is no justification to enter Turkish troops to Iraq in defiance of the Iraqi will and sovereignty of the country.

His Eminence reiterated his call for Turkey to good-neighborliness and constructive common interests, noting that there are a lot of commonalities and mutual interests between the two neighboring countries .
