Head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim meets with Egyptian Minister of Oil Mr. Tariq Mulla and his accompanying delegation
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Iraqi National Alliance, at his office in Baghdad Sunday, 30/10/2016, received Egyptian Minister of Oil Mr. Tariq Mulla and his accompanying delegation.
\r\nHis Eminence and Mr. Mulla discussed prospects of cooperation between the two countries in energy and strategic projects, stressing the importance of this cooperation to the service of the two brotherly countries.
\r\nThe meeting covered reviews on the prospects of joint cooperation in accordance with the technical potentials of the Egyptian side in excavations, extending gas networks and pipelines, the training of workers in the oil sector in Iraq. His eminence stressed the importance of activating memorandums of understanding between the two countries in the oil sector, and its actual implementation on ground, and to expand the participation of Egyptian companies in the investment of oil contracts, especially with regard to the development of infrastructure and refinery plants and gas.
\r\nHis eminence indicated the importance of the Egyptian role in calming the region, for Egypt always care for all arab counties, urging for more cooperation with Egypt in energy, military and service aspects and expertise in management of water, stressing the importance of integration and exchange of experiences and coordinate visions to a political solution in the region.
