Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, receives French ambassador to Baghdad
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, stressed that the Iraqi people fiercely fought terrorist groups of Daesh despite of all the issues and challenges that stood in the way, indicating that the finest of youth Iraqis had martyred for the sake of achieving continuous victories, and today Iraq is just a few steps away from the great victory and the liberation of all the Iraqi lands.
\r\nThis took place during his eminence meeting with the French ambassador to Iraq Mr. Marc Baretti, at his eminence\'s office in Baghdad Sunday, 06/11/2016.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim stressed that the new Iraq seeks peace and extending the hand of friendship with everyone, stressing the importance of developing relations between Iraq and France in order to achieve common interests of the two peoples and the two countries.
\r\nHead of the National Iraqi Alliance, stressed the importance of intensifying efforts and the commitment of European countries and to actively contribute to the global coalition to combat the terrorist group of Daesh.
